Electric outboard comparison
We test and compare the different electric outboard options on the market.
In this episode we are going to see how much we can squeeze out of the different types of electric outboards available on the market, what we can expect from them: maximum speed, battery, thrust… We compare it with equivalent gasoline engines, to see What we can expect from them and we will even see a surprising functionality which is the ability to convert an electric outboard into a hydrogen generator to generate electricity while sailing.

In our test we have compared Torqeedo and Epropulsion models, with the reference of a small 40Lbs electric outboard.
